ISEKAI NONBIRI NOUKA(Farming Life in Another World)
Japanese light book series Farming Life in Another World (Japanese:, Hepburn: Isekai Nonbiri Nka) was created by Kinosuke Naito and Yasumo. Since December 2016, it has been available online through the user-generated novel publishing platform Shsetsuka ni Nar. After acquiring it, Enterbrain has produced fifteen volumes since October 2017 and distributed them.
Since November 2017, Yasuyuki Tsurugi has been illustrating a manga adaptation that has been serialized in Fujimi Shobo's shnen manga magazine Monthly Dragon Age. As of January 2023, the chapters have been compiled into 10 tank-bon volumes. Zero-G produced and broadcast an anime television series from January to March 2023.
PLOT
Hiraku perishes accidentally as a result of a God who failed to provide him good fortune; as retribution, he was resurrected in a different universe and even had a holy object transformed into a useful tool for him. Hiraku's strange new existence gradually develops into a hamlet and community of many species, with him serving as their mayor.
MANGA
On October 12, 2017, Yasuyuki Tsurugi's manga adaption began its online serialization through Kadokawa's ComicWalker website. On November 9 of that year, it started running in serial form in Monthly Dragon Age, a shojo manga publication from Fujimi Shobo.Eleven tank-bon volumes have been published as of July 2023. One Peace Books holds the North American print and digital rights to the manga.
On July 8, 2022, Monthly Dragon Age began serializing a spin-off four-panel manga with the title Isekai Nonbiri Nka no Nichij (, "The Everyday Farming Life in Another World").On January 7, 2023, the first volume was released.
Synopsis
Hiraku Machio spent the last years of his life in a hospital bed, suffering from a fatal disease, till he passed away. Hiraku is reincarnated in a another universe where he can live as he pleases because a god decides to take pity on the unjust life he had. He receives an all-in-one "Almighty Farming Tool" that he can convert into whatever practical tool he desires since he wants to practice farming in this new existence. Then, Hiraku is taken to a wilderness that appears to be distant from human habitation. He intends to create and cultivate everything from scratch in this location, gradually transforming the barren landscape into a thriving new community.
Background
Two volumes of Isekai Nonbiri Nouka were made available on Blu-ray and DVD between April 19 and May 24, 2023.
